205 XS, drove it a couple of times then left it in my garage for about 4 years!

Ibiza CLS, cupra alloys, sold it for spares due to rusty floorpan after 6 months

306 Diesel turbo, got T boned shortly afterwards, sold for spares after 6 months

106 XSI 1.4, 15'' alloys, 206 gti 180 brakes, full pugsport group n exhaust. Broke down lots due to various different overheating probs, head eventually warped so i sold it 6 months later (See the pattern)

106 Quiksilver, standard. lasted year and a half so far

Mk2 GTI 16v, Lowered on coilies, scorpion exhaust,

Mk2 GTI 8v, stripped it for bits due to rear end damage

Mk2 GTI 8v, sitting in my garage, used as storage for parts from above car at the minute

Scirocco GTII, sitting on friends drive looking miserable until i have the space to leave it at mine

Quite an achievement methinks, I may get lynched for saying this but the Strada Twincam was probably more fun to drive than a GTI, trouble is bits fell off everywhere & it wouldn't start in the rain!

this is a bit of an old thread but a goodun'

    for me:
    '83 mk1 golf 1.1c [red]
had to scrapped as it was rotten come MOT time[xx(]

    '90 diahatsu charade 1.0 [grey]
hated this thing to death but it was cheap to insure/sold it after 1 few months of boredom

    '89 mk2 golf 1.3c [white-i'll never have a white car again]
slow as hell but atleast it was a vw

    '90 mk2 1.6 driver [black]
awesome bodywork on this golf bought it off my brother

    '90 honda CRX Vtec [white-again[:v:] ]
awesome little car but i there was just something about the golf that made me sell this after just a month[:$] - i went back to the driver which i hadn't sold

    '90 mk2 golf gti 16v [met. black] CURRENT CAR:hug:
ended up dropping in a 9a engine after the inspirational GVK and it was the best move possible as you don't have to cane it to get it moving.
car now heavily modified although i have kept the standard look. plus there is no rust on the thing.
might be sold next yr???? but i'll probably regret it

    '97 s14a 200sx [met. blue] CURRENT CAR
at just stage 1-this is an absolute rocket:o . yet so smooth and relaxing to drive. bought to replace the golf a year and a half ago but the golf is still around, and i can't face selling either at the minute.

Unbelievable little things. [8D] They have the tightest turning circle ever, we drove into a double garage, did a U turn and drove out the other side. Once spun it, 5 complete rotations on mud, setting a personal best! Did a 'wall of death' around a hedge with it too. Best fun you can have with a lump of plastic!

err, hold on i`m trying to remember.....
mk1 astra 1.3 gl - ace machine, 4 speed went like stink for a 1.3

opel manta sr - quite fancy another actually

mk1 golf driver - complete shed, whoever owned it before me abused it and it died when i had it

alfa romeo 33 1.5 cloverleaf - ace drivers car, this beast got abused every time i drove it, unreliable as fook tho...

alfasud 1.5 cloverleaf - bought as spares for said 33

mini 1.0 - go kart with 4 seats, got 90 out of it once

mk2 golf gti 16v - i miss this so badly, monza blue, rare headlight and grille, big bumpers, rims, magnex etc.

another mk2 in monza blue bought as spares for the above

peugeot 309 1.6 auto - needed a cheap car cos i was unemployed and broke, quite solid actually

vauxhall nova 1.2l - this was the most fun car i ever owned, saloon in white with knackered suspension, in the wet it went sideways anywhere at anytime, a complete hoot to drive till it died

    mk2 astra 1.3gl - another run around

mk2 honda civic 1.6 16v - bloody fast little bugger till i hit an old fire hydrant at the side of the road

mk2 scirocco gti - early single wiper model, got cut apart for a mid-engine conversion which i had to abandon when i went to uni

mk2 golf gti 16v - got swapped for a mk4 shell that had a 1.8t in it (for the above conversion)

alfa romeo 33 1.7 cloverleaf veloce - sat on my friends drive waiting for a rebuild

mk2 scirocco gt2 - my run around for the last 4 yrs nearly, reliable as an old pair of y-fronts but better looking and more fun, soon to be 9a carb powered

mk2 jetta gti 16v - another monza blue one (i love this colour) bought this whilst the scirocco was off the road for a while, much better handling than a golf( sold it to a guy who just happened to have a white mk2 scirocco that was off the road - coincidence??!)

citroen ax 1.0 spree - purple, 5 door, 70 ish k miles and for sale for peanuts if anyone is interested, reliable as you like and cheap as chips

(pre license) 86' BMW 525e, most entertaining drive to the scrappy.

current - 90' Golf GTi 16v; boring stuff; Ronal LSs, SS exhaust system, ss exhaust manifold*.

    Coming soon..... MOVEMENT.

1997 - G reg Mk2 Golf CL 5 door, GTI bottle top wheels, arches, bumpers, grill, lowered, weber carb and jetex exhaust (prob about 80 bhp)

1999 - F reg Mk2 Golf GTi 8v, totally standard and quite an improvement in performance over the 1.6

2000 - E reg Mk2 Golf GTi 8v, adjustable suspension, TSR 2.0l 8v engine, recon gearbox with Quaiffe ATB, 280s, stainles 4 branch, stainless jetex system etc (mut have spend 5000 on this car!)

2003 - J reg Mk2 Golf GTi 8v, registered in Jan 1992. Was a tidy car and perhaps the best looking golf I owned. Sold it with the 2.0l TSR engine from the previous golf.

    2004 - Audi S4 2.7T MY2001, MRC custom remap (320 bhp and 380 lbft), boost gauge, RS4 grill, debadged ;)

Still got the S4 and no immediate plans to part with it. Bit of a Q car and gets hardly any attention, yet can embarrass some expensive machinery ;)
