Cars I've actually used as daily drivers - '84 Passat 1.8 CL - lowered a lot '92 Polo GT - lowered even further. Very nippy '84 Scirocco GTi - blew up repeatedly '83 Polo C - lowered into absurdity and stripped to featherweight. '91 Ibiza SXi - lovely little engine, handled like the fiat it almost was. '94 Fiesta (company car) blew engine within 24 hours '98 Daewoo Dull-as-ditchwater. (company car)- Can't remember it at all... '92 Passat 2.0 CL - slammed in the usual style. Run off the road by a 4x4 '92 Polo G40 - many mods, lowered even beyond all previous lowering. '77 Chevy Camaro - comedy thirst and handling. Fast up to 80mph. '85 Porsche 911 Carrera - Boring to have to say it, but it was the best '92 Passat 2.0 CL - unbreakable. '95 Seat Toledo 2.0 - As above, but sharper handling '01 Bora V6 4motion - Executively swift. Plenty of grip. And then the projects / non-daily drivers... '80 Polo N - stripped out and G40 powered. Died of rust shortly after. '78 Derby - abused in many ways, now visible in sig. '78 Polo LS - still in bits awaiting the re-incarnation of the '80 '80 Derby - saved from the scrapper, may yet return there... '84 Derby - chopped about into a Polo pickup truck. I'm sure I missed a few though

Golf 1.3 C - bought and sold in less than a week. Polo coupe S - sold, burnt. Golf 16v - cut up at 250K after body rotted out. Polo C Sqaureback - death by gearbox Polo Squareback Ranger - cut up 6 hours from purchase. Polo C Sqaureback - sold to a mate and does stirling service still Golf 1.3 CL - new engine, complete 16v interior inc. electrics. Konis. still going strong despite my rushed engine rebuild... MK1 driver 1.3 - soon with mildly tweaked 2.0 under the rusty bonnet. Scirocco scala injection - cut up after 12 hours, still has MOT now.... in amongst that lot there is a good scattering of Astras, Renaults, Fords, MGs, Talbots, Pugeots, Toyotas, Audis VWs, Mercedes, BMWs etc. that I seem to acquire for cheap or get on long term loan from tollerant mates/family when my wrecks dont move...
