Right just done a 7:13.1 with only 308bhp. How do i get 365bhp? I can certainly squeeze a bit more out. Will put pic up tomorrow and saved replay. We do need to have a race. Going skiing in Austria from tomorrow evening for a week, must beat the targat time before i go.
Dont think there is a way of bulk messaging people, or even inviting them. Just a case of finding a friend who's online and clicking on their My Lounge or the Yellow circle next to My Lounge (which appears if they are playing in a lounge thats not theirs). Really hoping PD will address the Invite/Friends situation as it hardly makes it condusive to setting up a race.
So the room doesn't become a permanent fixture, thats a bit bob isn't it. So I could start a room called 'Ring mkV GTI's only', go into it and a load of randoms with mk5's could join in? Has anyone raced online yet?
I've had a couple of races, but literally only that. I've joined a group devoted to clean mature racing, but they have quite strict regs to adhere to....still getting the cars needed to partake in the races at the moment (Race Modified Mk4 Golf being one of them). If you create a 'My Lounge' under your community tab, then i believe only your friends/friends of friends can join, which should alleviate the randoms joining in. Besides, you could always kick them out
Good going! ASM on? Just wondering how the hell you managed not to crash after clipped the grass near the end. Luck, skill or driver aids? I reckon you could shave a couple of seconds off that. Not sure I could, haven't tried the GTI yet.
Just ABS on 1 for the aids, thou with the pedals its alot more fun turning ABS off its to easy to make a mistake lock up and spin. Total luck with the end, think I had just managed to knock enough speed off before going off so it wasnt to bad thou I lost a second as I was on for a 7.11 with how far ahead of my ghost I was. Yep still time to be knocked off that thou whether Ill have the skill to do it is another matter, the Mk5 is really impressive in this game, generally I stay away from fwd on games as its dull to drive but the golf can be quite a on the edge car which is fun.
Went on with all intentions to buy the mk5, blew 250k on a carbon fibre Amuse skyline r34 drift car instead :-)
hmm i have been reading this thread for a while, so last night i thought, lets give it ago, then got sidetracked into buying a lambo, which kinda emptied tthe bank .. still i have managed to build up some funds this afty, ill give it a go tomorrow afternoon. can i ask why the mk5? is this going to be extended to other VW cars later???
