It managed another trophy from Festival so gobsmacked really as the standard was very very high and loads of cars in the S&S. I was also made a fool of by Mickey, which was nice. He kept asking me questions and then ripped me for giving my lifes story etc. lol. I was pitched up next to a chap called Peter who had a stunning standard '88 8v Golf GTI- loved it!

Ive loads of pics to go through and upload, but ive been putting it off until the mag feature was out. That should be this Fri coming in Golf+. Sarah from the mag has taken loads of briliant pics (im a bit rubbish at photography) which she has kindly said I can host after the mag is out. The GT will be making its way back into the workshop this week for a few little jobs over winter, plus I have to get it bang on for the Ultimate Dubs standard cars display in March.

Well done Dave beautiful car, looks fantastic with that Zender kit and the paint job is stunning

Maybe when I finally get my Zender kit on and the car all sorted we can try and get together as many Zender kitted cars as poss for a photoshoot :)

Thanks guys from all of us!

I only got a copy this morning from the newsagent, and cant really beleive its all real. Having played with Golfs for many years and had Golf+ and PVW every month for over 10 years, its well weird reading about whats in your own garage!

Im suprised I havent got a bit of stick for the addition Sarah made to the thanks section and her choice of pic.......

there were tantrums but i had to keep them well away from the car, especially in the 2 weeks leading up to Inters. Its all been worth it and Ill be out in it much more next year as Ill be booking Annual Leave around the shows to make sure I dont get rota'ed shifts

    cheers Damien!

Just had a mate ring me up and take the mick about the geese! lol

Roger- what make is the wheel? Pics would help too. Ive found parts I need with lots of surfing and patience. Not too many GTI Eng centers out there seperate from the wheels. A boss should be no problem

I was having a bit of a spring clean when i managed to find the documents i misplaced many moons ago.........
The service history confirms that the registration was changed at a later date (still dont know when but Ive found a receipt dated 1993 that has the GGT registration). It was originally sold from Colindale Service Station on Edgeware Road in London

I also found this GTI Engineering sheet
