envy pride and wrath not sure if we saw the rest i'm sure i will be corrected good film though will miss the old pickle gone to a good home ?
Possible to let use now who bought it or would you be able to let him now that someone is interested in the front bumper & splitter, I would be interested if it's being used for rallying.
It won't fit your car Dave, it's for a wide arch car. It will appear soon enough...got to give CGTI CSI something to do....
you don't know what I have planned, I don't half the time.... always changing my mind myself but it could become useful in the future!
[this post comes to you in old skool black & white] It was 2001-early 2002? ish, a load of us went to Bruntingthorpe with SCN and did a track day, I had my old D reg 16v mk2 and a mate with me that was an ex-kart racer in his younger days, had some great chases with Rob in his early days of pickle ownership! Turn the clock forward a few years and Rob had me pointing the way round the Nurburgring Nordschleife on one of his first laps, never forget the manic giggling as we bumped our way round the Karrusell. lol And the flames from the 'proper' engine's first trip too...
sad to hear you have parted with the lime green machine ,a club gti historic car for the archive. hope the new owner looks after it as well as you did rob. even sadder now I lost my strip buddie , memories live on rob, stealth rr days , 16v shootout at brunty, few runs up the quarter mile strip . and so . may be you can put up that old video on your car on the dyno . just to let you know your old brm engine should be back alive very shortly. will keep you up dated , its in a mk1 tintop shell now though, but I have plans to re fit it back to my old jetta , just to keep the brm theme going really. new car looks and is amazing piece of kit , good luck hope its brings you as much success as the biza did . ,.. cheers paul
Cheers Paul - we have had some good laugh's eh? I'll see if I can find that early dyno video - one of more recent ones at Awesome is still on their website I think, but cannot find it right niow.....
Shame it's not a vw as you'd have Chris giving it major You need to start a new thread in members gallery to keep us up to speed with this awesome weapon See you soon
I will, it has some interesting history. Yep, c u soon I hope you have plenty of space in that pickup......found another box full of clutches, flywheel, box parts, a starter motor, and two gearbox casings....
I think I'll pick my latest mk2 up first so will have room on the trailer as well so no problem there lol
