I know all about turn in points and apexes thank you very much.

Just not super accurate on a computer game with a too-sensitive analogue joystick. Steering wheel allows consistant steering inputs through corners whereas with the joystick you are constantly altering the input thus making it more difficult to maitain a decent line. Also prone to putting in too much/not enough steering angle.

Any road, you might now be professing not be a `Ring expert, but how did I just know you`d pop along with something to say?

And who, other than a someone who likes to think they know the place back to front, would quote marshall post numbers as reference points?

Yeah it gets fighty, especially in 1st, 2nd, erm 3rd and 4th it's still no Micra.

Usually whack the TC on 5 and turn the ASR on to make it driveable.

No idea on set-up, even on the Allstars series I was lapping most of the pack before the end of the race.

Haven't bought a mk5 yet. That race thread is all over the place, can't quite confirm what spec is allowed.

 

As far as i could tell it was mod it to the hilt! Engine, weight reduction, turbo etc. & racing softs.

 

So no 280bhp limit?

 

Well i don't know about anyone else but I did every mod i could. Still only managed a 7:27, if others arent fully modding then i've got no chance!

 

There's better info on the actual race thread, it's just some of the info has bleed into this one. It's a MK5 GTi but otherwise completly unrestricted.

Just gutted there is no NOS this time. The Minolta Toyota sportscar in GT4 was fun round there with NOS.

im trying to only buy cars that i would actually like to own, unless its race specific, the only ferrari i want is the F40, i bet it handles like crap tho!!

anyone used the mazda furai concept, its amazing 500 ish bhp and weighs about 600kg

 

I got the furai from doing the mx5 race on b-spec.

you get the f40 a couple of races later on from b-spec too.
