Yeah, the RM list is pretty small. So far i've done a Cappucino, Elise and an Mk4 Golf...which is a bit flash harry in Chrome

I remember being able to do it to almost all cars in older games!

 

i looked at the list on the net, i thought the RM was added once it was modded? if not then my charger isnt a RM car.

its maxed out with every mod that can be done! painted in orange! they only mod i wish i hadnt done was an spoiler! it works but looks pants!

EDIT just been looking at the car list, there are two dodge chargers! and i have the wrong one!

The Race Modification is done in GT Auto (far right next to the engine rebuild and chassis). In GT4 , it used to be that you got to RM the car once you'd added the 3 stages of Lightweight mods IIRC.

 

yeah i went and checked on GT4 but it appears that i have the wrong dodge charger!

do the RM versions pop up in the used car section as i couldnt find any in the dealers lists

 

They are bought from the dealers. Dont look for the RM versions though, you have to buy the normal road cards and then perform the Race Modification on them from the GT Auto.

ie. I bought the normal Mk4 Golf GTi from the VW dealership, then went to GT Auto and did the Race Modification to it. That then adds tuning like suspension, exhaust etc. and racing decals (though the colour can still be changed and the decals remain)

 

in that case ill see if i can mod my charger again tonight!

in the car list on gtplanet the RM versions appear as different cars, maybe that is to identify thet cars that can be race modded.

 

They say "RM" at the end of the usual title after they've been RM'ed if that's what you're getting at

just RM'd a mk4 and not overly impressed altho it looks good!

still another cool VW for the garage!!

 

ive gone and got a logitech driving force gt wheel... its awesome! cant get off F1 2010 now though. will get back to gt when i get a chance!

 

Who was it that was after the M3 CSL? Do they still need one? can get one if needed
