Latest Gran Turismo 5 News. Update: Club GTI & 'Ave it logos made it!!

I've been saving for the Ferrari 2010 F1 car for a while now - and I've just read that you can't use it in a-spec or b-spec or arcade mode.... only for online challenges!

Can anyone confirm this? Is it the same with the 2007?!

 

I've just been gifted an F2007 and F2010, i know you cant get into B-Spec when you're in that car, but haven't tried A-Spec. I would presume it'd be the same.

Yep can confirm it for the 2010, i assume the same for 2007. Do you want a 2010?

i got bored of it a week in and haven't played it since. Not sure if GT5 isn't good enough, or if I just prefer doing other stuff with my time now considering swapping it at game for F1 as that engaged me a bit more.

 

Please! If you don't need/want it anymore!

i have been off it for a week or so now, its a shame there isnt more seasonal events, i have reached the point where i need hours to progress any further on the A spec.

Also the B spec is rubbish too when you reach the endurance evenst as you need to go up two or three levels to get to the next race, and winning other events to build the points up is boring!! the points and credits for winning an endurance race hardly make it worth while!!!

 

what really really ****es me off, is when making a new game you would think they would sit down, have a chat about what wasn't so good about the old one - maybe ask some of the people playing it.

NUMBER 1 thing everyone would say - stop asking so many bloody times when I buy a part, yes im sure, yes I want it on the car (why the **** would I buy it if I didnt want it on there!!) yes i want it on there now. Why must I click OK again now its on there

 

I've bought the part but i dont want to install it yet. I want to run another race with a standard car just to loose...Again!

 

not played it for almost a month now, on reflection its only a prettier version of the last GT, very few new cars, a couple of new tracks ( altho they make numerous small tracks from a single location).

Version 2.0 coming in October with DLC to follow 1 week after apparently.

Maybe we'll get Spa or some more UK tracks or even Ebisu???

Iv started again as Im trying to get into the drifting with the wheel, hard but getting better, actually think I strained my shoulder getting agressive with it

 

I haven't played mine in a good while either.

Need to get it back out and start playing again me thinks. When i find the time that is!!

 

i still love GT5, play it most days.
done a few championships in work online.
been doing the online time trails...looking forward to v2.0

 

oh finally they're adding the ability to save endurance races!
