Ive yet to see another car in my colour. Twilight Violet Pearl, paint code LC4T. Definately purple on the V5, looks purple and ive had some funny reactions when giving my reg no over the phone for things, "its purple?!" etc lol. I just hope it isnt going to be hard to get paint to match if i do decide to keep the car.

Wonder how much mine would be worth? Its just hit 102k now, full VWSH up to 80k then myself ever since. Its a minter apart from one sill and slight bubbling under one of the rear windows, which would be easy to put right. Just cleaned it earlier, she scrubs up well for a 10yr old car!

If you decide to go and look at the car make sure the 16v badge on the rear of the car is in the right place. If it isnt like Matt82's it'll cost you atleast 5bhp.

    hahahahah

cheers guys, im hoping if the guy comes back to see it friday afternoon and stick a deposit down but he is saying he wants to attain the best price, with 69 watchers and enuff questions as long as your arm, i may not be favourable at 1800 but personally thats top price anyway i think, its not really worth any more...

its a Jun 1996 so think thats why its got 288mm brakes! [:D]

will keep you all informed, if anyone spots any more decent ones for sale let me know!

Looks like a nice example youve found there mate, should be a gooden. The 16v badge on the rear is in the right place aswell, so you wont have a lack of bhp like Matt's :p good luck with the viewing. If you get it let me know and well go for a b road spin.

what do you mean try to go lower? you have won it for 1805 so that is what you will have to pay, you can't go there and start tyre kicking [:s]

those BBS wheels are RX2 or something like that.

You need 5 stud, 5 X 100 PCD fitment, so the MK4 GTI BBS splits will fit but these are 6.5 wide, if you can get a set of MK3 anniversary wheels they are the same but 7.5 wide which is better for a 205 tyre.

Any MK4 alloys will go straight on, as will the audi TT range plus bora etc so there is lots of VAG options if you want it looking non chavy :p

    hahahah

well the assumption on the phone with the buyer was that i needed the win the auction at 1800 max i was prepared to pay. so i did that...and won it...

but the agreement is, if its not what i want or up to what he says its up to, then i can walk away....

anyway, lets see how i go..

so any mk4 anni or mk3 anni wheels of that same type will fit! great :)

    Will keep an eye out......

    any reps anywhere?

mk3 is better i see, 18's are far too big too.. so 16's of the mk3 version would be best it seems :)

ah I see, thats alright then. I suppose he did that as he was so useless with getting back to you so you could go and see it....

the mk4 one's are just normal gti alloys that some had, the mk3 are the 20th anniversary one's....

you can always pick up a set on ebay for 250 ish so wouldn't bother with reps myself.

when you going to pick it up?
