the 18's are the MK4 anniversary one's (25th anni) and are a different wheel altogether, and yes 18's on a mk3 is chavy to the max lol

ive spotted a few on ebay, well 2 sets to be precise with a sensible price but have a long way to go at the mo :)

won't advertise them here...mind :) could pm them with you to double check them...

if they are set up for mk4 wheels will they fit mk3 arches ok, or do you have to buy the less wider tyre...

ooop sorry for advertising lol, they never go for more than 250 unless they are refurbed anyway which is a fair price for such a nice looking wheel.... refurbing alloys is quite easy to do so worth a go yourself....

the different tyres are needed due to the profile....

mk3 would be 205/50/15 where as mk4's have a big fat ugly tyre to help deal with the extreme weight of it......

matt have you seen the raceland bucket seats on ebay? they look really nice and are good VFM, I have been in contact with his about a possibility of a group buy off here.

He sells them with specific subframes (50), something you might be interested in?

depends on the weight, blud. has to be a good saving over the originals.

what panel filter is best (green cotton? k and n??)

wouldn't mind weigted shift rod, so what box is is it? 020 rod one?

and what about short shift, always good too?

how come your not looking at it till next weekend? I couldn't hack that if I was getting a new car... I would be round there banging his door at 7am this morning

chips are worth it for 30 is what I hear but don't expect a lot from it...

I always buy K+N for some reason....

I love the way the mk3 16v box feels already tbh so never felt the need for a weighted shift rod - might try a short shift though....
