that looks top notch, just shows you don't have to mess with the standard looks of a mk2 to make it stand out,

    Cheers Paul :)

The battery went flat whilst i was on holiday and the ecu decided to wipe all the maps so after a little trip to Stealth to have them reloaded i returned with some Eibach arbs. Also got my rear beam bushes through.

New bushes (i did tighten up the nut)

Thats pretty much it. All thats left is the lower ball joint extenders and maybe some strut braces. I may rose joint the track rod ends, i'll see how it goes. After that i'll be looking at adding a touch more power in the not so distant future.

Not that much more really as its pretty small, that and the turbo are near their limits. I'll change it for something that sits behind the grille inbetween the head lights when i want a bit more horses.

    Poly bushes

Looks great, what make of poly bushes are those you have fitted on the ARB drop links. Did they fit over the ARB's without modification? Looking to up grade mine soon.

The poly bushes are bugpak items from AmD Technic. I had to use a 22mm hole cutter to enlarge them and a spot of fairy liquid to get them on.

    How are the KWs ?

Looking really good with all the chassis mods now, how does it drive?

Can't fault the KWs, never had coilovers before so don't really have anything to compare them to but they are a million times better than before. Pretty much done all the mods in one go but the handling has been totally transformed. Makes the power so much more manageable. A lot less torque steer as well.

Just waiting for some rose jointed track rod ends to go underneath the steering arm and then i'll be looking at some track days [:D]

Nice Mr VOSA decided he would issue me with a prohibition order a couple of weeks ago due to the front wheels rubbing (they don't [:x]) so i had to have the re-MOTed after only having the last one done in may. The MOT bloke wasn't entirely happy that it doesn't rub and failed it for that reason and a crack in the window screen. So a new green tint screen, some more arch work and some 7x15 compomotive MO's were in order [:D]

Passed the MOT this morning so went for a little drive. The car feels a lot better now with the extra width over the G60 steelies, makes a surprising amount of difference when cornering hard. Not too sure what to do with the car now, brakes and suspension are pretty much done so . . . . . more power [}:)] [:D]
