You don't need an ABF in this car. 140ish bhp in an 8v will be good fun!

I can confirm that Ians car is perfectly fine with the engine that is in there, its perfect for what he uses it for and its so easy to drive you could even lend it to your nan to go shopping in!

It made 135bhp when set up by stealth a year ago, driven 1500 miles, snorkel removed, put back on the rollers 12 months later, made 130bhp. So, timing wasn't even touched. I appreciate temperatures, tyres pressures etc can make a difference but was suprised by 5bhp. Not moaning drives lovley.

Sounds great, Not as loud as yours but I like it, just sounds that bit more aggressive.

As Nealey says it is, you can drive it quite normally and you would think nothing of it, but get the toe down and it comes alive, great fun.

Skinty get that valver running and convince me I'm wrong.:p

oo err sounds like a challenege to me! so what happens when I do convince you?

got to admit it does pull quite well and drives pretty good, just the vibration from the solid mount (at idle) thats a bit of a pain. other wise, credit where credits due

Suppose it has been out a bit more this year! Last year it was stuck at your cousins unit for most of the year!
