    Dodgy poitin for me, it claims to be whiskey but whiskey doesn't normally come in a Smirnoff bottle - and whiskey doesn't make you feel like someone put LSD in it for the next 48h! The sediment in the bottom of the bottle was a bit of a giveaway as well....:lol:

    excellent entertainment fellas :thumbup:

    Isn't this Matts 2nd or 3rd comeback on here too?

    I might be in the market for a new bird, does anyone know of any women who are good cooks, like "alternative bedroom practices," and like annoying fitness obsessed blokes?

    I drove a 2.0 gsi petrol one of those with about 26k miles on it - the thing didn't move!!!! honestly it had no acceleration at all, to the point of being dangerous.... wouldn't carry kids in one of those if you paid me.

    If you pulled out onto a roundabout and one of those chav golf gti drivers came screeming round it unexpectedly you would be fooked, especially as those bleeding golfs have no brakes or safety aids like my astra.... sorry vectra

    Always wanted to go for a new car, never been in the position to go for it before. Oh, and they resolved the whining power steering with the 2nd generation mini, at least to a certain degree.

    Im still hankering for another Mk2 though.

    So, how much are they both worth now? I'm guessing the Golf will fetch 1500 all day long.

    Right I know this particular quote is from 07 but have to get this off my chest...

    I'm actually rofling right now!

    Finance = Not your car

    Warranty = Sweet FA. they screw you over on the whole "general wear and tear"!

    Car sales people = Rape and pillage your bank account.

    After buying nearly new never again. They screwed me over and lied to me and I just wanted to sit there and get the nice man to sort it out for me. Paid the price. Oh and my 10 yr old mk4 feels safer then the nearly new fiesta.

    Anyone in employment (I was a temp at the time) can get a new car.

    AGH! This thread makes me sooooo angry!
