Of course it's not hard - You can buy one for about 30.

Running a PR company with clients such as Sky, Walkers, and many government regeneration projects, CAD firms, etc isn't quite so easy though

The company doesn't need to borrow any money to buy the VeeDub - Company finance is cr4p.

Yes and my uncle who's worth serious money drives an old mk4 Golf.
And wife's grandad who's worth more drives a Jimny.

People are not what they drive and not all Astras are equal.

well it just doesnt add up. being a 'car enthusiast' and 'being worth serious money' but choosing an astra.

odd choice to say the least

I'm not worth "serious" money - My uncle is!

A beaten up old mk1 Astra worth 50 is an Astra.
A mk5 VXR worth 20k is an Astra.
    A mk5 888 CDTi is an Astra.

My mk5 150bhp 235lbs/ft Astra with 17" 225/45 wheels/tyres, 308mm brakes, lowered by 10mm, Lotus engineered, uber comfy, half leather interiored, hugely practical, massive VFM, brilliant handling, well made (better than the R32), freshly styled Astra is STILL an Astra.

    A bit like comparing a mk3 1.4CL Golf to a Mk5 R32 because they are both Golfs.

Will post pics of the California when we get it. Only got this to go by so far:

    So the bottom line is;

    new cars aint so bad...

but any Vauxhall is bad news:lol: :p

Edit - I have to say this looks like brilliant fun:

VW CALIFORNIA - 174PS 2.5 TDI PD - 5 cylinder producing 400 Nm maximum torque with either a 6-speed manual gearbox, 6-speed automatic gearbox with Tiptronic or 4MOTION all wheel drive system with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

    Get it!!!
