been on the cards for some time now, over the past year ive been saving and buying bits , i just need mega squirt next, but that will probely be another month or 2. Anyways this will be on going thread in the mean time.

I orded my turbo manifold from the USA , and already know bout the issue's with the brake servo, but the one i got from kinectic motorsport is more centered. I took a massive gamble and orded it. Having kittens for the past 2 weeks on weather this is gonna fit and that i wasted my money , well it does fit, it misses the brake servo by a half and inch,

now i sooo need to make a custom heat shield from around the strut ,covering the fluid bottle and master cylinder and brake servo, theres enough room for that, in the picturs it does look close but its not all bolted down so i have more room when its proper bolted down, but its now possible not impossible which is good. But a smaller turbo compresser housing rather then a T3/T4 would be easier.
Im gonna cover the heat shield in this stuff ,

plus get hold of plumbers flame proof matts that withstand extreme flames and temps,

T3/T4 , was just thinking a 90 degree bend from the turbo down, then custom bend towards the air box, be tight, tighter then a ducks butt lol but still possible at this stage, found some good bendible/cuttable, 1700 degree heat shield that can take direct heat, its bout 5mm thick so shud all fit between turbo and brake servo, im just gonna heat shield the entire bulk head and everything else, that spray also sprays on the turbo it self which is good,

with normo wheels on, looks proper odd !

No cracks because it's not finished LOL.
The 16g comes from mitsi 4/5, in the USA they use it on the mitsi talon i think of top of my head it is smaller than t3/t4 but the spool up is from 2500 revs.
If you are near stealth racing go and have a look at the 16v engine they have on a stand.
But i am going to change all this and put a equell lenth manifold and the GT30 turbo on it which i should have done in the first place.

well managed at last to get the 02a in properly, after having to get extra bits like the right starter motor and bolts, cover plates, rear gearbox bracket, its in, all those little things are left off on people conversion guides, so just simply put in an 02a gearbox is not just that simple, not havin the right size bolts and brackets and extra things or finding out u need this or that has caused delays , but any how,

    old 020,

02a,pressure plate, all reversed compared to the 020 setup

didnt no u were suposed to use the 02a bracket, my box didnt have one so i was trying to fit the 020 bracket,
    [IMG]

loving the tight sump bolts that now sit in the fly wheel lol

    fitted now with 02a bracket

    new cover plates,

    another question tho,

ive selected a gear via the shifter tower, put that into reverse, but still can turn the driveshafts in both directions with ease ??? is thats suposed to happen ? also in any gear, doesnt feel any different, can still turn the drive shaft with one hand, is that something to be concerned about, as the 020 when locked into a gear, i could tighten the driveshaft bolts up,
