    That's good

If it doesn't then I'd get your emerald looked at. I've never used such management, and I'm wondering if this might be causing you problems ?

    Maybe.

That's not too bad though I could package that up and send it. Don't really want to bother toyotec again but anyone else able to do this?

If all else fails of course

Would a imobilizer cause any issues?

Reason I say this as I've had half the dash out lately replacing the heater matrix

    None as of yet.

As the car off the road I've ordered a few bits that I wanted to do. ( not urgent but kills to birds etc)

I have a day off Friday so hopefully I can report some cheerful activity

I've spent the last few day tinkering. mainly replacing the boost pipes.coils, fitting a new radiator.painting and general bits and bobs.

cant fire it up Because I'm still waiting on bits to be delivered. "Next day delivery my bottom"

I have absolutely no idea whats going on with this lemon scented car

I've replaced coil packs I've checked all the vacuum pipes. I'm getting no smoke looked at all the wiring. cant Vag com it. as for stupid Emmerald im lost with what to do. only thing im thinking is doing a compression test. but surely the car would smoke... however it does smell rich now

To be honest I'm loosing the will and just about to smash it up with a hammer. (at least i would get some pleasure out of my short time ownership)

i think i have a injector issue.. i ran can again and individually took wiring off for each.. 1 ran for 2sec then died so did 2/4
3 ran longer then did what the car did before and just died.

    fingers crossed its injector

while im here is it worth looking into better (bigger ones [}:)] )

also i currently have the inlet manifold off any place i can send off, to bling it up

Ive just had a call from Jabba sport after they had tested my injector and the result was perfect. all injectors are fine. [:x]

To be honest i was hoping one was the issue (then i would be able to enjoy it)

so any ideas how to check the wiring to the injectors?

Im now peeing into the wind and just having a guess.

Can an oxygen sensor cause this especially if the car hasnt had a remap from when that was fitted?

Those compressions seem low, is the gauge accurate? Test it on another car?

Im not too sure to be honest. i thought the comp could be low depending on the pistons used. i believe i have some up rated ones 1.9 ceramic top ones (if that makes any kind of difference). and the engine was cold when done the test as i couldn't get the car up to temp.
