    That's lifted my morale. ????

    I'm going to check off the wiring tomorrow and look into removing the head.

    Any specialist tools needed?

    Yet again really really appreciate the input. I was feeling pretty low now I want to get on with it

    I have a multi meter. But not very good with it.

    And yes comp test was cold. I'm unable to get car to working temp.

    Result were no1 =105
    No2=105
    No3=95
    No4=100

    I thought these were low. But was told that some performance piston run at lower comp

    Exactly! Thats probably why the cost is so high. Dont most places charge around 60+ per hour these days?

    Carpets still wet ..just blew ..maybe it overheated pressurised pipes and blew it ...Doesn't look good mate
    Maybe there was an issue with the car hence it was for sale ..I would not be happy if it was me

    It wasn't connected when I brought it.
    But didn't realise until the next day [emoji22]
    When I found the puddle

    I've replaced it now and connected it all up.

    You don't need to be good. Just use it on the continuity setting or beeper. You can check to see if the wire has a circuit back to ecu etc.

    The readings look low. But that probably due to be cold. Also did you do it with throttle open? It's not a major difference between reading. I had a low reading in one cylinder. Turned out to need lapping in.
