Edit:Sorry Daz? missed your reply there...What do you think to the below? Aye I really have tried absolutely everything else more a less... Only thing i can really think of now is maybe the fuel pump? but i cant be buying more bits and not solving the problem.Plus im 'pretty' sure the fuel pressure is ok. Just a quick question though...I noticed when the guy checked the pressure it fell away within maybe 5 seconds of turning the car off. Is that normal or should it hold it somehow? Really dont know where to turn to Thanks again for the help so far. Neil.
not sure if im right here but doesnt the coolant temp sender cause similar problems? i know on other engines when these start doing weird things so does the car

Sorry Daz?/vrbanana missed your reply there...What do you think to the above:re:fuel pressure? ben,it dosn't have an accumalator...the golfs do but not the corrado for some reason. Neil.
if the car starts ok in the mornings ect then its not a problem for the pressure to drop i pretty sure if you put a pressure gauge on the car when you turn the ignition on the pressure will raise ok have you changed the temp sendors if the car is ok when cold then as it warms up gets bad then could be the sender telling the ecu the car is still cold not sure tho i know thats the case on standalone ecus well mine anyway
Edit:Changed Matt, cheers m8. Ben,It never starts first time actually, always second time... Ive had a few blue senders on it both non genuine and genuine, current one is genuine and only a few weeks old. They can cause strange running though aye... Do you guys think i should find someone who knows there ar$e from there elbow to properly check the fuel pressure? The garage that did it recently...the guy was asking ME what it should be and where to test it Kind of idiots i always end up dealing with...
Anyone? Im just unsure who could do this for me on the cheap And...does it look like it has a fuel pressure problem here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncMWd7PY6rM Silly video i know... but compared to my mates g60 here with a big intercooler... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g3e8LMRnbLg
Off to bed now...still got a slight friggin headache Cheers so far guys Just wondering what to do now? Neil.
im sure theremust be someone on here thats local to you with all the equipment required to test it for a few beer tokens
try again tommorow clear head unplug every all the sensors and things under the bonnet tommorow plug em all back in making sure they are all on nice and tight then look at the wot switch it shouldnt be taped up theres a reason for this and hopefully with some help and advice from various people on here itll get sorted you could be missing the obvious it just needs someone to go i had that problem lol that or bring it to vw action and let every bugger have a look lol
Aye...clear head is needed big time...although ive re-attacked it a few times now Hopefully Ben?...im practically begging for help with it [:^(] Id obviously do my upmost best to somehow pay someone to diagnose/sort it...Ive got a few bits kicking about that may be of interest if anyone can please please help... Cheers,Neil.
Have you tried driving it with the o2 sensor unplugged?. Mine got upset with the output from my wideband sensor and would lean itself out so badly in closed loop it would kill the engine, funny thing was it didn`t happen all the time..
Makes no difference with lambda unplugged. Been through everything again today...all day. Tried my spare ecu, tried my spare dizzy... I even unclipped all wiring from the ring terminals that go to the battery, chopped a little off each end to rid of the dirty wire...cleaned the ring terminals with emory and re crimped em all back on.Did both the posi and earth sides. Still the fecking same. [:^(] I just dont know what to do...
Its the lambda sensor then - if it does the same plugged in, as unplugged, then its not working properly.
The thing is...it was doing this before i replaced the lambda with a new genuine one.A garage wrongly diagnosed it as the lambda. And the voltage does cycle 0.1v to 0.9v... I know of plenty g60's running without lambda's too,and they run spot on...mates recently went through mot easily passing the emissions test, doing better than most new cars.
somthing not right with the lambda if it doesnt make any differenece unpluged id get this tripple checked mate
