    For sure...

All lines up perfectly m8 [8(]

Although, the crank pully mark, and the mark on the flywheel do not line up with each other.Weird i know...But on the corrado forum, its been said that the mark on the crank pully can be out/stamped wrongly.

I was thinking bent crank at the time i was looking into it[:s]

    I dunno...my heads battered.[8(]

    Aye,have spoke to Darren...

He suggests getting a wideband on it,but its not as easy as it sounds when you are sat here having never even seen a wideband.[:s]

I know from reading that its basically a lambda type thing, that you can take readings from and check the afr etc...

But i can't just go and buy sommet like that.[8(]

Thats how i originally did it m8[8(]

Plus...a thing to remember is that this problem just appeared from nowhere after parking the car up for 30 minutes...

    Just cant feckin understand it[:^(]

Since then ive wasted a lot of money replacing bits and taking the head off etc after its all been suggested locally as the problem.
Must admit...the garage that suggested sticky valve got me thinking they were onto something...but after building it all back up and the problem still there,i was/am propper p|ssed off about that.[:x]

Still...it won't need cambelt/tensioner/camshaft oil seals etc etc for a while.

widebands are pretty easy to use mate....im thick as and i can use one

you just plug it in the cig lighter and turn it on...whack the sensor up the tailpipe and the unit gives a digital reading ...pretty easy and they have forums for it too

I couldn't agree more! Never been a big fan,but i bought this car on condition rather than engine[8(] Would have preffered an 1800 valver...then throw the 2.0 on carbs in.[8(]

Edit:and im going now...smoking/drinking...whatever takes my mind of this fecking thing!

might be worth checking if the keyway has sheered on the bottom pulley, happend on my mates valver and caused all sorts of problems on the rollers even thou it had not been disturbed[:s]

i think this is where you need to be looking....find out why it's firing all to pot.

what fires the coil? crank sensor? hall sender?

Cheers m8...ive had the pullt off and its mint (the keyway/integrated woodrough key are perfect) and the pully has no wobble at all.

These are common'ish issues on a g60,but ive checked them out and uprated the crank bolt.Problem was there way before i replced it too.

I think that makes sense actually m8...this weird jumping mark issuehas been playing at the back of my mind...but ive searched for a possible cause and come up with nothing[8(]

In fact...I wonder if its worth taping the wot closed, and seeing if the mark is still jumping about???

That would relate the two problems then?
    What ya reckon?

    Again,cheers so far everyone.:)

No tci ben sorry m8,im confusing everyone else as well as myself now:lol: [:^(]

Dosn't the wot switch use a map with diffarent fuel/ignition settings? or does it still give the ignition dependant on manifold absolute pressure etc?

Or am i getting it all wrong?
