A very subjective and personal thing but I always prefer the intercooler pipes visible through the grille to be painted black, looks a bit `cleaner` imo. Doesn`t affect performance, it`s just a styling thing. I`ve never liked the shiny visible intercoolers on show.[:s]

I`m just getting old and boring, carry on... lol

I've been on a roll today, oil and filter changed, wiring tidied up, navigator pouches fitted and single wiper conversion made.

I decided to replace the rear ABS sensors with Mk4 items rather than cutting the loom and splicing the wires so as soon as they arrive in pretty much ready for its first outing

1st day out today at Donington Park, only 1 problem really when the bottom hose got cut through when the fans kicked in but other than that it was faultless, more than can be said for the weather.

Getting the power down was an issue as the track was very greasy so maybe a proper set of wets need to be on the cards instead of the T1R's

Such a relief, I'm glad there's only a couple of niggles I need to sort, nothing serious really, I'm going to make the dogbone gearbox steady work and swap the wires on the fuel gauge sender as I appear to have a magical self filling fuel tank at the moment
