Was gunning it down a country road, came to an incline, nailed my foot to the floor, got to the top of the hill and it dropped down and then instantly went 90degrees right. Span the car round the corner and up a bank.

Could of been worse. It was a good 25ft drop if i hadnt got round the corner. No sign either. Dodgey bit of road that.

after driving for 3 months xmas eve 97 in my newly acquired maestro 1.3 driving down a local b road fiesta pulls out and i lock but try to swerve round him end up smacking the corner of said fiesta his bumper flew up the road as car made of filler maestros are tough cars my headlight and inner wing took the the brunt of the impact . funny now i look back but not at the time car was jinxed after that clipped a post on a narrow street ripped the rear arch to pieces or the time went past an escort and didnt leave enough space my wing mirror took out the rear light and guaged the rear quarter like i said tough car but was jinxed for months afterwards .

Fell asleep at the wheel on the motorway.

Took out an air compressor at a service station. Tiredness again[:$]

Crashed into kerbs, many, many, many times.

Crashed a hire car in NZ.

I could go on for days...[:$]

Nothing, really. I'm an excellent driver. I'm an excellent driver. I'm an excellent driver.

Just don't let the smoke alarm go off.......

Ok I've been saving my list for a while now just to see what everyone else has done.

    Crushed an exhaust while reversing
Nearly handbraked the car down a slipway (saved by a barrier)
Handbraked my mums R5 into a gatepost (car needed a week in a jig)
Scraped my new corsa with 0.1 miles on the clock along a chainlink fence at Vauxhall garage
Ripped off a sump while grabbing air
Ploughed through a farmers gate into a ****ty field
nearly crashed my mate S14 doing a brakestand
Drove off with one side of the car still on axle stands
Scraped the side of a car with the jack
Drove off with a socket set on the roof
Forgot to tighten up the wheel nuts after a tyre change
Ringed numerous nuts using the wrong sized socket (imperial and metric mixup)
Ripped hole in an oil filter using a screwdriver.
Tried to pull a massive traffic cone with a flashing beacon into my mates car while moving, it didn't fit and we passed a cop with it hanging out the window.
Went backwards into a farmers yard through a hedge while 'playing' in the snow, got chased away by a hugh dog and had to go dig the car out hours later under cover of darkness.

drove off with the expansion tank cap on the battery...

after 5 miles noticed steam coming out the bonnet, opened it up to find the cap conveniently perched on the gearbox ready for me to replace:)

    just remembered a good one,

driving along about 50 in a transit van with a few ppl in the back standing up, the driver counts to three and on three he brakes hard while the ppl standing in the back jump, the drivers head was the only thing that stopped us going through the windscreen so you can imagine how his neck was feeling. lucky the driver wasnt knocked out ;)

i wont be doing that again lol

I know how much that hurts, I was sat looking out of the back window of a van (before seat belts were law and dashboards were steel plate), some old woman steps in front of it and I sail through the air, down the length of the van and stub myself like a cigarette butt on the dashboard. Always wanted to do it again but with a soft thing to land on....
