Time Bomb Waiting to Happen!!

erm its a debate started by you on the use of jubilee clips on fuel lines sparked by a DD conversion car that had them on and the risks (or lack of in your opinion) of using them.


but as a mod i will keep this thread factual and relevant to the subject.

 

this was sparked by the spurious comments made by an EX Clubgti member and i was giving my view on those comments. I personally use jubilee clips and find them extremely strong and reliable some people out there may not.....horse for courses.....

 

I believe Rich is still a CGTI member.

Not that I understand what being an "EX" member has to do with
anything.

for your info yes they did the install but his comments are made over a year after it was completed of which DD cannot be held responsible as things are moved and changed over time.

So Rich changed the clip himself, something which he deemed to be very unsafe, then took photos of it and posted on an internet forum just to have a cheapshot at DD???

Good one!

Rich already has a long and documented history of complaints with DD and this just appears to be yet another of their f**k ups in a very long list.

Face it, the quality of workmanship is not up to standard here, something which appears to be the consensus of the entire forum bar you. Maybe you need to look past your DD blinkers and face up to this fact.

Also, why are you sticking up for them if you don't work for them?

Well i dont know either personally but after looking at my conversion carried out by DD Stevie Wonder would come out way above....
