ok so ecu is seeing dizzy signal, could still be erratic I suppose. take the red/black out of the double spade just to rule out any issues on internal wiring/cluster

Do you mean try cranking with just the red/black off the coil?

Take the red/black wires out of the plug, fit everything back together. The green wire is the trigger from spark module the red/blacks are rev counter signal back to fusebox and isv controllee

I will try that in the morning.
When I took the coil I switched ignition and check for voltage, I just had 12v at the single black wire. Does that sound right?

Now that I've checked resistance on the coil, does that mean the coil is fine?

    Spec is:
Primary winding resistance - 0.6 to 0.8 ohm
Secondary winding resistance - 6900 to 8500 ohm

Sorry to keep on, when I take the red/black wire off the coil and crank it. What should I expect to happen. Really appreciate the help.

Hi mate, I've realised I haven't connected the ignition live to the ISV control unit. could this be the reason for all the problems?

would just stop the isv from working, car will still run. perhaps the base idle/co screws are out of whack, can you keep it running with throttle?

Can I get a live from G spade 2/5 for isv? Is that the screw on the side of the throttle body? Not really its the same with throttle down. The fact i have a spark without the red/black connected to the coil, am I missing a relay or something? The only one I've added is the fuel pump the rest as stayed the same from a diesel.
